2010 is a true milestone for Vidal Sassoon Shanghai.

In 2000, Vidal Sassoon opens its first and only academy in Asia.
Located in the renowned fashion hub of Xintiandi, Shanghai, China, the academy has provided world class education to over 15000 hairstylists, from over 20 countries and areas.

Over the past 10 years, with the dedicated effort from the academy team and the many students that have attended classes, there has been a true change in the qualities and standards within the hairdressing industry.

Please, let me take this chance to express my high appreciation to all the stylists who believe in the true meaning of the Sassoon philosophy, that of creativity, originality, and more importantly, the pursuit of excellence.

In 2010, we are to open the much awaited second academy in China, which will allow for a much broader portfolio of the unique Sassoon’s education experience, an experience of Sassoon’s purity, sharing of knowledge, attention to details, which leads you to a stronger technical understanding, and helps develop your career and true creative potential.
